THRIVING TEXAS FAMILIES (TTF)

​

Motivation, Education, & Training, Inc. (MET Inc.) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and inspiring rural and underserved populations through motivation, education, and training. Through a broad network of programs and services, MET supports children, families, and communities by promoting self-sufficiency, educational achievement, workforce development, and family well-being.

 

Through the Thriving Texas Families Program, MET partners with expectant parents, parents, and caregivers to provide support, education, and access to resources that empower families to thrive. Together, we work toward the following goals:

  • Promoting healthy pregnancies and positive birth outcomes.

  • Supporting healthy child growth, development, and school readiness.

  • Strengthening parenting skills and family stability.

  • Connecting families to community resources and support services.

  • Encouraging family self-sufficiency through education, workforce development, and goal-setting opportunities.

  • Improving the overall health, well-being, and resilience of children and families.

  • Building stronger communities by helping families become successful, independent contributors to their communities

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE PROGRAM?

​

  • Pregnant woman

  • Parents, legal guardians, or adult caregivers of a child age 36 months or younger 

  • Parent or legal guardian of a pregnant minor who is a TTF participant

  • Parent who experienced a miscarriage or loss of a child within 90 days prior to enrollment
