Las familias interesadas deben llamar a su centro local de Head Start o Early Head Start en su comunidad.

Enrique Montalvo
Since incorporating in 1967, MET has benefited from leaders like Mr. Montalvo, whose steady leadership has helped shape our strategic direction and strengthen the connection between our board and staff. His contributions have supported our early childhood education, youth services, and job training programs, reflecting his deep commitment to our mission and the communities we serve. Across seven states, our staff and the families we support are profoundly grateful for his wisdom, integrity, and unwavering dedication.
Carmen Gonzalez
Since incorporating in 1967, MET has been guided by leaders like Mrs. Gonzalez, who has served as our Board Vice-President for decades. Throughout her years of service, she has been a steady voice guiding our early childhood education, youth services, and job training initiatives — and a true fiscal hawk, always ensuring MET remains a responsible steward of the federal and state dollars entrusted to us. Our staff and the communities we serve across 7 states are deeply grateful for her wisdom, integrity, and unwavering leadership.

Dominga Ortiz
This distinguished award honors the legacy of Hilda Escobar, an esteemed MET Board Member who dedicated many years of volunteer service to our organization and the communities we serve.
Dominga’s journey truly represents the heart of MET. She began as a farmworker, became a MET participant, and was later hired by MET on October 27, 2003. After serving families for many years as a Client Services Representative, she now leads as the Workforce Development Specialist for the Lower Rio Grande Valley Region in Texas.
Dominga’s remarkable journey, dedication, and leadership demonstrate the life-changing impact of opportunity and service. We are proud to recognize her outstanding commitment to MET and the farmworker community.
Maria Del Carmen Salinas
This distinguished award honors the legacy of Julie Osborne, an esteemed MET employee who dedicated many years of service and leadership to our organization.
Carmen has been a true pillar of MET since December 10, 1979. Throughout her remarkable career, she has served in numerous positions and has demonstrated unwavering dedication to the farmworker community. As the Workforce Development Manager for the Lower Rio Grande Valley Region, Carmen has developed and mentored outstanding leaders, including Dominga Ortiz.
Her lifelong commitment to MET’s mission and vision, exceptional leadership, and decades of service have made a lasting impact on countless employees, participants, families, and communities.
